• JET SKIS: Among the countries that have brought in severe restrictions on their use, Greece has recently enforced a law that obliges users to be certified with speedboat license. Therefore it is always on captain’s responsibility to choose the appropriate area away from swimmers or other anchored yachts for usage of all water toys.
• SCUBA DIVING: Greece is a well known country for her undersea ancient treasures. In efforts to protect its historical tradition brought up for years now, regulations that should be strictly adhered to. Scuba is allowed only in areas where organized centers provide boats, equipment, guide and safety (scuba is a marvelous experience but can be dangerous too). Those are the reasons some yachts do not accept hired scuba equipment on board, instead they recommend the hire of equipment (boat & escort guide included) from organized centers where scuba is allowed at a very low cost.

DRUGS & WEAPONS
• In Mediterranean both drugs and weapons are illegal. If by any reason are found on board, the charter is terminated immediately without refund or recourse. Mediterranean is a safe place on earth where people in the cities still leave their doors unlocked while in islands the doors are wide open. There is not a single case that someone might be robbed or life threatened.
NO SHARKS, SWIM FREE!
• Good news are that swimmers may enjoy the Mediterranean islands fearlessly. There is no danger because there are no sharks! Only friendly dolphins are playing with the waves when you are on sail!
WC FACILITIES
• Most of the yachts operate wc systems similar to airplane types. To prevent any inconvenience, you need to drop papers in the baskets placed in bathrooms. It is not allowed of course to flash cotton most female hygiene products consist of or any other non-dissolvable material in any type of wc.
SOFT SHOES / HIGH HEELS
• It is the utmost well-known habit, guests to step in the interior yacht areas without shoes. Soft shoes are recommended for the teak deck areas while high heels might be harmful for teak deck surfaces. Main villages in Greek islands are built amphitheatrically in various levels with lots of steps and narrow coble stoned alleys. Walking on high heels or heavy shoes would turn out to be an extremely difficult experience.
MAY, UP TO NOVEMBER
• When Spring ends, or autumn commences, the temperature is a bit lower than in the heart of the summer. Yet the atmosphere is more clear, attracting all world photographers for the excellence of color contrasts in dramatic and beautiful landscapes. Clothing will be warmer for the chilly nights with sweaters or anoraks. You may live different experiences in low tourism season, with local fiestas, bazaars and tranquility in islands and ashore.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS and SHORT TERM CRUISES
• Last minute bookings can provide some times less expensive charters depending the yachts availability. A four day charter in Argosaronicos islands close by Athens, or around St.Tropez can offer same pleasures with a long term charter some times.
